Changes in the environment surrounding CMS operations

While the use of CMS and cloud computing has become commonplace and the promotion of DX has accelerated the operation of multiple sites by companies, the issue of lack of proper operation and management of security and other aspects has come to the fore.

We have been promoting automation of operations using “KUSANAGI Cloud,” the integrated management platform for “KUSANAGI,” and we believe that we can contribute to solving these issues, and have decided to start providing a service that integrates CMS (websites) management using “KUSANAGI” and “KUSANAGI Cloud. We have decided to start providing a service that integrates and manages CMS (websites) using KUSANAGI and KUSANAGI Cloud.

CMS Platform Integration Services

Launch of “KUSANAGI 9” for AlmaLinux OS 8

KUSANAGI” has selected CentOS Stream 8 as the OS for “KUSANAGI 9” and has begun offering it, emphasizing the need to respond quickly to technological advances.

However, in promoting integrated management of CMS in enterprise companies, more stability is required, so we decided to provide “KUSANAGI” based on AlmaLinux OS 8 (*), which has a long support period.

Currently, the AlmaLinux OS 8 version of KUSANAGI is available for Microsoft Azure and AWS Business Edition and Premium Edition.

AlmaLinux OS is an open source Linux distribution compatible with RHEL ® and pre-Stream CentOS.

KUSANAGI Development Policy

Since demand for CMS platform integration is expected to continue, we will continue to develop functions such as support for typical CMSs, focusing on the AlmaLinux OS 8 version of “KUSANAGI 9”.

Since the AlmaLinux OS 8 version of “KUSANAGI 9” is intended for enterprise use, priority will be given for the time being to the development of paid versions (Business Edition and Premium Edition) and their provision from each cloud.

KUSANAGI 8″ and the CentOS Stream version “KUSANAGI 9” will also continue to be offered.

Road Map

KUSANAGI” will be developed to support CentOS Stream 9/AlmaLinuix 9 as the next OS, as well as to provide a GUI in the paid version, aiming to become an industry standard CMS integration management platform.

KUSANAGI Cloud, the integrated management system for KUSANAGI, will focus on functions related to the integrated management of the CMS, and will also include migration and test automation for implementation, security audits for operations, and hyper-automation for failure response and prevention using AI. We aim to provide the service to partners and open it to the public.

Based on these technologies, we will also provide hyper-automation implementation services, and aim to open our management system and other services to the public.

Road Map

In addition, we will deepen cooperation with each cloud platform and promote collaboration with our partners in the licensing field.

We will continue to work toward the development of the enterprise OSS ecosystem, expanding the KUSANAGI Stack and KUSANAGI-based services centered on KUSANAGI, and promoting hyper-automation.
