KUSANAGI Open Source Licenses

You must acknowledge that you understand all the licenses and information here before using KUSANAGI.

Definition

For the purpose of this license document, the “open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine” shall mean any type of virtual machines, instances, images or as such that is used as a template to deploy a working operating system where the open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine is distributed. The open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine may have different editions and different names depending on the distributed platform.

General principles

The open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine is a collection of many different computer programs and documents created by a range of individuals, teams and companies.
Each of these computer programs as well as documents may come under a different license. This document describes the licenses that various components of the open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine might be distributed under, but it does not constitute an agreement or license between Prime-Strategy Co., Ltd. and any other entity.

Prime-Strategy Co., Ltd. developed and licensed components

All original works developed by Prime-Strategy Co., Ltd. and distributed as part of the open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine are licensed under GNU General Public License Version 2, or GPLv2. Complete copy of GPLv2 may be obtained from the following URL: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.en.html Source codes of may be found by using appropriate package manager program in the open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine such as ‘yum’ or ‘dnf’ to locate the SRPM. Any modification contributed by Prime-Strategy Co., Ltd. back to other open-source projects are governed by the license of the project in question.

Third-Party Components

All third-party components distributed by Prime-Strategy Co., Ltd. as part of the open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine is either CentOS software or AlmaLinux OS software itself of which KUSANAGI virtual machine is based. The components of CentOS or AlmaLinux OS contained in the open-source KUSANAGI virtual machine may be found by using appropriate package manager program of CentOS or AlmaLinux OS such as ‘yum‘ or ‘dnf’.
